Retrieving Documents. You can create and save document searches based on the way users need to retrieve records. For example: search by record date or range, invoice numbers, vendor name, purchase order, client or employee name. The product allows users the ability to combine several criteria in a single search for the delivery of the right document.

Working with Documents. Not only can you easily retrieve and distribute your documents, you can make annotations like post a note, highlight text, embed an image, insert or delete pages. These annotated documents are kept separate from the original scanned one so the originals are not lost.

Document Distribution. You can select a single document or multiple records to print, email or fax. SmartSearch automatically creates a PDF for distribution. There is no need for Adobe Acrobat to be installed either. Incoming faxes can be delivered to a single inbound fax destination or to the inbox of an individual if you're using multiple lines or PBX integration.

Security. Using Active Directory, access is granted to directory groups. Members of those groups will have automatic access at their appropriate levels. Archives are inaccessible by standard network users. This ensures that only the right users are able to view, retrieve and distribute documents and files.
